Nicos Varsos
An Experienced Multimedia Producer & Digital Project Manager
Nicos Varsos is a highly skilled and experienced internet, video and social media producer with particular experience in project management. He was born on 1972 in Chalkis, Greece. Now lives in Athens Greece. In the past he has worked as an Interactive Systems Developer in various companies, while at the same time he has collaborated with various institutions and organizations on issues concerning the planning and development of educational applications. He also designed, optimized and administered social media profiles and campaigns for various clients, using Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterset and YouTube.
Since 1998 he is working at the Foundation of the Hellenic World, a not-for-profit cultural institution based in Athens. He is currently the head of the Internet, Multimedia & Film Production Department. He has been involved in the development, design and project management of various educational applications, info-kiosks and interactive exhibitions. Overseen in-house or external teams of producers, designers, art directors, developers and illustrators, and managed the delivery of projects including - but not limited to - audiovisual exhibits, interactive games, websites, documentary films, advertising spots, social media apps, banner ads, e-mail campaigns, etc. He is detail oriented and has extensive experience in project management with creative approach to problem solving through the use of excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Nicos Varsos has a Degree in Computer Systems and Control, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Higher Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Sofia. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Leicester. Since 1996, he is a member of the Technical Chamber Of Greece.
